Digipack & Magazine cover

The other part of the coursework is the promotional parts, the bands digipack/album cover, and the magazine cover with the band being the main article, alongside the bands picture.

Here is an example of a digipack:

This is similar to what i will be creating to go along with the music video, i plan to have photos of the band on each face of this digipack.

Here is an example of a magazine cover featuring a band:

Front page spread on the tv, film and music magazine, advertising oasis and their new single. Magazines doing this promotes the band and their music.

Final Idea

My music video will be a traveling performance based video. It will star the unsigned band IndiGO Party' and there song 'Streamline'. for the intro i will be shooting them walking up a residential road and then as the drums and vocals for the chorus kick in they will start to run. throughout the video i will have the front-man lip-syncing to the camera in various shots.
I then want to show the band run into a houses driveway, and climb up onto the house roof. this was inspired by The Beatles playing a gig on the roof of a building, and also Brian May (guitarist from Queen) playing God Save The Queen on top of Buckingham Palace. Then they will go to the back of the house, set up their instruments and begin to play, this will be around the time of the guitar solo. Then during the break of the song i will shoot an audience appearing from the house onto the patio in slow motion to fit with the pace. The band on the roof will be shot in HA to show them above the rest and the main focus of the video.
